I am an interdisciplinary researcher combining theoretical methods from philosophy and ethics with empirical methods such as focus groups and online experiments. I am passionate about bridging the theory with praxis - particularly, how different conceptualization and theoretical approaches impact practical issues such as evaluation or design of technology. In my research, I focus on ethical and epistemic issues of conversational agents used in healthcare. I am particularly examining questions about humanization of conversational agents such as:
To what extent should conversational agents be humanized?
What is the value of simulation of human conversation and human characteristics?
